HOLY CRAP! STAR WARS III!
Well, although it doesn't "officially" hit the web until tomorrow, it was on Entertainment Tonight, and available to Star Wars: Hyperspace members. I believe it's attached to "The Incredibles" when it hits theaters tomorrow (gonna have to see that). Anyway, everyone had to know it would hit the web for free before tomorrow, and indeed it has: LinkyEverybody should really go and check that out. I'm hoping for a bigger QuickTime version tomorrow. I can't wait to see this movie.

Well crap, I just read that NBC has pulled Dr. Vegas from it's schedule, effectively cancelling it, of course.
How great...

Well, I bought 2 tickets to see Trans-siberian Orchestra in Indianapolis on November 29. I am really looking forward to it, should be a great way to kick off the Christmas season. If anyone hasn't heard of them, well, you're missing out. Check out the website below. I'd like to leave you with an awesome quote I found in the biography section of their website. Once when asked what Trans-Siberian Orchestra was about, Paul O'Neill replied, "It's about creating great art. When asked to define what great art was, Paul said, "The purpose of art is to create an emotional response in the person that is exposed to that art. And there are three categories of art; bad art, good art and great art. Bad art will elicit no emotional response in the person that is exposed to it, i.e.; a song you hear in an elevator and it does nothing to you, a picture on a wall that gives you the same emotional response as if the wall had been blank, a movie that chews up time. Good art will make you feel an emotion that you have felt before; you see a picture of a forest and you remember the last time you went fishing with your dad, you hear a song about love and you remember the last time you were in love. Great art will make you feel an emotion you have never felt before; seeing the pieta, the world famous sculpture by Michelangelo, can cause someone to feel the pain of losing a child even if they've never had one. And when you're trying for these emotions the easiest one to trigger is anger. Anyone can do it. Go into the street, throw a rock at someone, you will make them angry. The emotions of love, empathy and laughter are much harder to trigger, but since they operate on a deeper level, they bring a much greater reward.http://www.trans-siberian.comTo hear one of my favorite songs they do, click here. But only if you have iTunes! If not...well, shame on you too.

This was in a signature on Spymac, I think it pretty much sums things up.
"Every computer experience has its pros and cons. On a scale of 1-10 I find PCs have a min/max enjoyment range of of 2-8. For the Mac my enjoyment range is probably 4-10.
In other words, when things are working well on a Mac, they are freaking awesome - a transcendent experience. When things are not going so well it's not near so frustrating as when a PC takes a dump.
If things are going well on a PC, well I just count my blessings that nothing went wrong. The experience is pleasant, but not transcendent. If a PC takes a dump, then it could be a freaking multi-day nightmare."

-Well, I finished half of Enter the Matrix last night, Ghost's half, and I started with Niobe. You know, I really like this game, and it's explained several things from the last 2 movies. As soon as I'm done with this, I'll probably move on to Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Target (and a few other places) have a bunch of games for $20 that I don't yet own. -David Boreanaz in a new tv series! Woo! Yep, Angelus himself. I think I'll check it out, and if I like it, it will most surely be cancelled. Anyway, Angel was one of my favorite television shows of all time...still is. It was unjustly cancelled last spring, so I'm still holding out hope for a movie or mini-series, I mean, it happened for Firefly and Farscape, respectively. -Oh, and a teaser poster has appeared for Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. I loved the original trilogy, and say what you will, I loved Episode I and II, too. Seems to me people that complain about the prequels are just whiners. The teaser trailer is supposed to be attached to The Incredibles when it comes out Friday (Thursday for Star Wars: Hyperspace members, of which I am not). Anyway, here's the poster...I can't wait. I think that's all for now, I'll probably post again later.

I just love Random Bridge Officer (RBO) #3.
Of course, I'm referring to Star Trek (The Next Generation at the moment), which just came on my TV. RBO #3 refers to that completely random person on the ship that you will never ever see again. The one I just saw had to be one of those walk-on fan roles, because the guy was just standing there saying his lines, as stiff as a board. I cringed just watching it, and yes, cringed = chuckled.
I mean, you could get a better performance out of a shoe.

Ok...say what you will, but I like "Dr. Vegas". Maybe it's my love for Las Vegas, maybe it's because I think Rob Lowe is a great actor (I guess it harkens back to his West Wing days), but I really like it. I don't care what the critics say, since their opinions rarely match mine, and when they do, things quickly seem to go south. To be honest, I wasn't sure I'd like it, but at 10pm one Friday, there was nothing on, so I flipped on Dr. Vegas, to see the premiere episode. I had read about it in TV Guide, and they didn't seem to like it (go figure), anyway I think it's pretty cool. Needless to say, I'm still watching.
By the way, is anybody watching Star Trek: Enterprise. Say and think what you will, but I think it's pretty bloody awesome. I mean, Scott Bakula is awesome.
If anybody knows me well, they know that I'm a big fan of the West Wing. Well, you can probably soon make that former big fan of the West Wing. And when I say former, I mean I'm a big fan of the Sorkin years (season 1-4). I gave season 5 a chance, and I watched the season premiere for season 6, but that's probably about it. If what I read happens this season happens, I'll have given up all hope on it. It just doesn't feel like the West Wing anymore, I mean, I still want to like it, but I just can't.
For anyone interested, John Wells is currently in charge of the West Wing, the same John Wells who has driven ER into the ground. I guess he can write drama, but the man can't write good character development to save his life.

Forgot to mention it, but my high school marching band made it to state for the first time since 1989, and got 6th. Anybody who thinks 6th isn't very good, I'd just remind you that just getting to state is a big thing. I mean, they are among the top 10 bands in the state...I take that back, top 6.
